ZigBee technology, which integrates four major technologies, namely sensors, embedded computing, networks and wireless communications, is a new information acquisition and processing technology that can collaboratively monitor, sense and collect information from various environments or monitored objects in real time, process the information and transmit it to the users in need. As a brand-new field, ZigBee technology has posed a large number of challenging topics to researchers at home and abroad. Clock synchronization is an important component of all distributed systems and an important supporting technology for ZigBee technology. Most ZigBee technology applications, such as environmental monitoring systems and navigation systems, require that the collected sensor data have accurate time information, otherwise the collected information will be incomplete. This paper introduces the development and current status of ZigBee technology at home and abroad, analyzes the IEEE802.15.4/ZigBee protocol stack, and studies several existing major clock synchronization algorithms. In this solar beacon light synchronous flashing project, in order to facilitate solar energy to power the beacon lights, it is necessary to reduce power consumption through the sleep mechanism; in order to ensure the coordinated work of various devices in the ZigBee network, clock synchronization is more important. It provides correct clock information for each beacon light in this system, which not only improves the transmission quality and efficiency of the system, but also allows the synchronous flashing of the beacon lights to play a good role in navigation in the waterway. Then, the specific implementation process of the system is given, including the design principles of each hardware module, the circuit schematic diagram and the detailed implementation process of the main modules. Finally, the shortcomings of this article and the areas that need improvement are pointed out. Among them, this article focuses on the following three aspects: 1. An in-depth analysis of the network topology, protocol architecture and interference suppression technology is carried out, and it is compared with other wireless communication technologies and their mutual interference is studied. 2. The working principle of the ZigBee node clock synchronization algorithm is studied in detail, the advantages and disadvantages of these algorithms are summarized, and the multi-hop clock synchronization algorithm of the flooding time synchronization protocol is improved based on the comparison of several existing clock synchronization algorithms. 3. A solar beacon light synchronous flashing system is designed, the hardware schematic diagram and software flow are given, and the solution to the electromagnetic compatibility problem in the PCB board is described in detail. The results show that the system is stable, reliable, efficient and has high practical value.
