Fires caused by combustible gases are one of the most serious types of fire hazards. Once leaked during production and use, it is very easy to cause fires or even explosions. The importance of gas detectors lies in real-time detection of changes in the concentration of combustible gases in the environment and early alarms to avoid serious fire accidents. This paper designs a remote-controlled infrared combustible gas detector based on the NDIR detection principle, introduces the software and hardware design and structural composition of the device, and describes its specific implementation process with methane gas as the detection object. The measurement range of this detector is 0-100%LEL, the resolution can reach 0.2%LEL, and the response time is <30 s.
