Model establishment and performance optimization of XX6360 vehicle occupant restraint system: This paper summarizes and concludes the research content and research methods of the vehicle occupant restraint system as well as the evaluation methods and evaluation criteria. The model of the XX6360 minibus occupant restraint system was established using MADYMO3D software, and the data required for modeling using MADYMO3D software and its test and data processing process were described in detail. Combined with the actual vehicle collision test, the correction obtained an effective, stable and scalable model, which provided a reliable model basis for subsequent research. Based on the study of the principle and structure of the energy absorption steering mechanism, the multi-rigid body energy absorption steering wheel and energy absorption steering column model were established using MADYMO3D software. From the perspective of the entire restraint system, with the requirements of CMVDR294 for the collision performance of the whole vehicle as the goal, the energy absorption steering mechanism was studied as a major subsystem of the restraint system to protect the occupants. Some factors affecting the protection effect of the energy absorption steering mechanism were analyzed, and their trends in affecting the performance of the restraint system were given. Finally, taking the evaluation of the overall restraint system of the vehicle as the starting point, taking into account the cost and protection effect, and under the condition of meeting the requirements of regulations, the restraint system solutions with different configurations are analyzed. After comparing the existing optimization methods, the experimental optimization design technology is selected to simulate and calculate each solution, and a comprehensive analysis of the system restraint protection performance is made. This paper finally gives the analysis conclusions and a series of configuration solutions for the XX6360 minibus occupant restraint system that the cooperative manufacturer is satisfied with.
