Research on the Fuzzy Control System of Heating Furnace Temperature Based on PLC

Combined with the heating furnace temperature control system of Chongqing Iron and Steel Rolling Mill, in order to improve the control effect of the heating furnace, the system adopts a PLC temperature control system based on fuzzy control. The system makes full use of the intelligent characteristics of the fuzzy controller, as well as the advantages of convenient programming and maintenance of PLC and strong anti-interference ability, to improve the accuracy and stability of the heating furnace temperature control system. Compared with the traditional PID regulator, the application of fuzzy control greatly saves the gas supply, thus generating higher economic benefits. Therefore, the fuzzy control is an ideal heating furnace controller. Keywords: fuzzy control; PLC; heating furnace; temperature control The heating furnace temperature control system is widely used in industrial production processes such as metallurgy and chemical industry. The temperature of the heating furnace is an important indicator of the production process. Whether the temperature control is accurate directly affects the quality of the product. According to the different application purposes of the product, heating the materials and their products to the corresponding temperature and keeping them warm is a problem that the production process often needs to take seriously. The heat treatment heating furnace has the characteristics of large inertia, pure hysteresis and other nonlinear and time-varying characteristics. The opening and closing of the furnace door, the heated material, the ambient temperature, and the pressure of gas and air all affect the control process. In traditional PID control, PID control parameters are difficult to determine, so that the PID controller cannot always be in the best state, and a large overshoot will occur during the control process. With the continuous development of PLC technology, the functions of various process control modules have been enhanced, enabling it to achieve better control effects. This paper introduces the fuzzy control of heating furnace temperature based on PLC, which overcomes the problem of large overshoot, improves control accuracy, and saves gas costs [1].
