Design of backup/restore technology in embedded systems

Based on the in-depth study of the characteristics of embedded systems, the design ideas, system functions and characteristics of backup/recovery software are analyzed, and the overall design of the software system is completed using object-oriented software engineering methods, defining various functional modules, describing business logic and analyzing the backup/recovery process. This method is simple, practical, occupies less system resources, and has good robustness, portability and scalability. The software is implemented using WindowsCE.NET and Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) as the hardware and software platform. Keywords: embedded system, personal digital assistant, backup, recovery Abstract: On the basis of deep research on characteristic of embedded system, multithreaded and dynamic link libraries technologies. According to the design concepts, system functions and characteristic of Backup/Restore are analyzed, and its holistic design is finished, every functional module is defined, the service logic is described and the procedure of backup/restore is analyzed. The solution is simple and practical, needing a little system resource, and it has good robustness, scalability and portability. And then realize this software system based on Windows CE .NET and PDA software and hardware platform. Keywords: Embedded System; Personal Digital Assistant; Backup; Restor
