The CNC system can control the machine tool to achieve two-axis, three-axis or multi-axis linkage processing. The difference between a machining center and an ordinary CNC machine tool lies in whether there is a tool magazine and an automatic tool changer. 3.2 Common CNC systems for machine tools 3.2.1 SIEMENS CNC system SINUMERIK 840D is equipped with a total of 10 CNC channels, with the ability to process 10 sets of processing data at the same time; it can control up to 24 NC axes and 6 spindles. The standard Ethernet interface has a strong communication function. 3.3 PMC of CNC machine tools 3.3.1 Overview of PMC PMC, also known as built-in PLC of CNC machine tools, is a secondary development of the functions of the CNC system. The relationship between NC module and PMC module in the CNC system is shown in Figure 3.3. 3.4 High-voltage control system of CNC machine tools A suitable high-voltage control system enables it to receive the weak-voltage signals sent by the CNC system, and amplify the weak-voltage signals to control the operation of the high-voltage equipment. At the same time, the various signals of the CNC machine tool during operation can be fed back to the CNC system with appropriate voltage levels. 3.5 Determination of CNC machine tool faults Faults can be divided into several types, such as CNC system faults, servo system faults, hydraulic system faults and mechanical system faults. The faults of the CNC system are usually directly handled by the logic processing program of the CNC system itself.
