This paper proposes a staggered parallel forward three-level DC converter, whose output filter inductance can be greatly reduced. This feature makes it very suitable for power conversion occasions with fast load dynamic changes (such as voltage regulation modules). It can not only improve the dynamic response speed, but also reduce the output filter capacitor, thereby greatly reducing the output filter volume and improving the power density of the converter. This paper first analyzes the working principle of the converter, then compares it with the traditional two-level converter, and finally trials a 0.8V/100A output voltage regulation module prototype to test and verify the performance of the converter.
