LEDs can now reach 70 lumens per watt and above. If we still use the power consumption to express its luminous ability, we cannot know its luminous energy exactly. In 2007, the luminous efficiency of white light LEDs on the market increased from 40 lumens per watt to more than 60 lumens per watt. Now if we say that a white light LED is 1W, do you know what its luminous flux is? There is no way to judge! Therefore, for LEDs, we can no longer use the power consumption to express its luminous performance. That is, for lamps that are composed of LED light sources, power cannot be used as a functional parameter. The function of a whole lamp is to provide lighting and decorative lighting (including projection, flashing, backlight, etc.). Because the LUX (illuminance) value of existing LED lamps is relatively low, the function is measured by luminous flux.
