Research on Integrated Network Management Technology Based on CORBA/Web

This paper briefly analyzes the drawbacks of traditional network management technology, and on this basis introduces the advantages of applying Web and CORBA technology to network management systems. By studying and analyzing the compatibility of Web and CORBA technologies, a comprehensive network management solution based on CORBA/Web technology is proposed. Keywords: CORBA; Web; integrated network management; IDL; ORB With the rapid popularization of technologies such as IP and ATM, network technology has developed rapidly. Traditional networks are moving towards integration, and the scale, complexity and heterogeneity of networks have greatly increased compared to the past. This has also increased the difficulty of network management. The main problem facing current network management is how to effectively manage complex and large heterogeneous networks. Obviously, the previous centralized network management system can no longer meet the needs of this integrated management due to its poor security and inconvenient operation and maintenance. To achieve integrated network management, it is necessary to introduce a new network management structure that is compatible with the existing, independent network management systems to provide a unified management view to facilitate end-to-end management and QOS management. At present, many advanced information technologies, such as Web and CORBA, have developed rapidly and are widely used in network management with their friendly graphical interface and distributed processing structure. However, these new technologies also have their own shortcomings. Through research, it is found that Web technology and CORBA technology have good compatibility. If both are applied to network management at the same time, they can make the best use of their strengths and avoid their weaknesses, which is conducive to the realization of distributed integrated network management. To this end, this paper proposes an integrated network management solution based on CORBA/Web technology.
