Using LabVIEW, a virtual instrument software development platform of NI, the principle of building a remote test is discussed. Through the combination of network technology and virtual instrument technology, different functional modules are decomposed into different computers. By using network technology to flexibly connect various modules, automatic data collection, remote transmission, analysis and processing can be realized between widely distributed operating areas, thereby improving work efficiency and safety. The remote measurement system based on the client/server and browser network models is described in detail according to the amount of remote measurement and control data and different test needs. The combination of virtual instrument technology and network technology, and its application in the field of measurement and control, is a revolution in traditional measurement and control methods, and is also an inevitable trend in the development of future measurement and control technology. Keywords: remote measurement and control, virtual instrument, research
