Abstract: Since 1995, the hydrogen production system of the first phase of Tianjin Panshan Power Plant has adopted the activated alumina palladium deoxidation catalyst produced by Dalian Catalyst Factory to improve the purity of hydrogen, so as to avoid the risk of hydrogen explosion caused by mixing oxygen in hydrogen, thereby improving the safety of power production. The main performance of the deoxidation catalyst and the basic principle of removing oxygen from hydrogen. There are many types of deoxidation catalysts currently produced in my country, including activated alumina palladium, palladium carbon fiber, nickel deoxidizer, and many other types. The technical performance and application range of different types of deoxidation catalysts are also different. According to the specific situation of the hydrogen production equipment of the first phase of Tianjin Panshan Power Plant, the model we selected is the activated alumina palladium produced by Dalian Catalyst Factory. Its main technical performance is shown in Table 1.
