In order to show the relationship between the spatial characteristics and attribute characteristics of environmental impact assessment information, an adaptive graphics processing method for visualization of point source atmospheric environmental impact assessment based on GIS is proposed. In view of the shortcomings of existing graphics processing technology in GIS development, an adaptive grid division method based on the distribution of atmospheric pollutant concentrations and a new algorithm for rapid generation of contour lines and area filling are proposed to achieve rapid visualization and analysis of GIS environmental impact assessment results.
