Based on the SPWM principle, a three-phase SPWM algorithm is proposed using the equivalent area compensation method. The algorithm expands the linear range by pre-shaping the modulation function, so that the output fundamental wave still maintains a linear relationship with the modulation wave when the modulation index M is greater than 1, thereby improving the accuracy of the output waveform. Experimental results show that the algorithm has the advantages of high voltage utilization, low harmonic loss and simple calculation method.
