By making full use of the idea of product data management (PDM) technology, taking automobile product design as an example, on the basis of establishing parts graphics library and chassis parameter database, secondary development is carried out through VB and AutoCAD2000 software, integrating drawing design and data management. To a certain extent, the virtual design of automobile chassis is realized, and automobile design and data query can be carried out quickly and efficiently, thereby reducing the labor intensity of designers and improving design efficiency.
