In order to reduce the cost of traditional function signal generators and improve the low-frequency stability of function signal generators, this paper combines FPGA and 51 single-chip microcomputer to design and realize the generation of various function signals with a frequency accuracy of 0.596Hz. The frequency, waveform, and amplitude of the function signal are controlled by the 51 single-chip microcomputer, and the LCD displays the relevant information of the function signal. The signal generator designed in this paper is easy to maintain and can be upgraded by software, so as to obtain function signals with higher frequency accuracy to meet the needs of design in different occasions.
