This paper analyzes and compares the structure, heat dissipation method, light decay and color coordinate drift of LEDs with different heat dissipation modes, and conducts thermal characteristic simulation and experimental test analysis. The photoelectric thermal characteristics of LEDs based on vertical heat dissipation structures are studied from various aspects such as heat dissipation, reliability and stability, and cost and volume, and points out that small and medium-power LEDs in vertical heat dissipation structures are the development trend of current lighting applications.
