This paper proposes the idea that any transmission pattern can be synthesized by a set of basis beams. Based on this idea, a set of basis beams with lower side lobes is constructed by Chebyshev amplitude weighting of the centralized MIMO radar array, and then linear programming is used to quickly solve the basis beams and their proportional coefficients that constitute the pattern. Compared with the existing semi-positive quadratic programming method, the transmission pattern synthesized by linear programming has lower spatial side lobes and smaller spatial cross-correlation, and the calculation time is faster.
