Abstract: This paper studies the software design of intelligent control systems based on Linux 2.4 operating system and ARM embedded system. It is divided into three layers: user interface, control algorithm, and data communication. The user interface displays real-time field data, inputs control methods, and adjusts system parameters. The control algorithm mainly uses PID algorithm, which is stable and easy to modify. Data communication is mainly based on socket communication, with mature protocols and strong stability. Its software programming is implemented by Qt integrated development environment, which is a GUI toolkit based on C++ for constructing graphical user interfaces (programs) and has good portability. The entire system is small in size, streamlined in structure, and has high execution efficiency. It can establish accurate object models for different control objects and is applied to various industrial control objects. Therefore, this paper focuses on the configuration and transplantation of Qt integrated development environment for intelligent control system software programming based on Linux2.4 operating system and ARM embedded system.
