SD6922S Overview

Non-isolated constant current drive

Features

SD692XS is a control chip dedicated to non-isolated LED drivers. The peripheral application adopts a floating Buck architecture with a built-in high-voltage power MOSFET. Under this architecture, the chip samples the inductor current and uses the internal error amplifier to form a closed-loop feedback network to achieve high constant current accuracy and high input/output regulation. At the same time, the chip has its own PFC control to automatically achieve a high PF value in the full voltage range. The critical conduction mode of the chip reduces switching losses and improves system conversion efficiency.

SD692XS integrates various protection functions, including output open circuit protection, output short circuit protection, cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection, over-temperature protection, etc.

SD692XS has a built-in VCC voltage regulator, which allows the peripheral to work without auxiliary winding and maximize the output voltage range.

SD692XS has ultra-low startup current and operating current, and can efficiently drive high-brightness LEDs within the full voltage input range (85VAC~265VAC).
