Features
MT7933 is a single-stage, high power factor, primary-side controlled AC-to-DC LED driver chip. MT7933 integrates on-chip power factor correction (PFC) function and operates in critical conduction mode to achieve high power factor and reduce power MOS tube switching losses. Using MAXIC's unique control technology (patent applied for), the LED current can be accurately modulated without optocouplers and secondary-side sensing devices.
MT7933 also implements various protection functions, including over-current protection (OCP), over-voltage protection (OVP), short-circuit protection (SCP) and over-temperature protection (OTP), to ensure reliable operation of the system.
