Features
MT7800 is a high-precision LED constant current control chip that works in critical conduction mode (CRM) with zero current conduction and peak current shutdown. It is mainly used in non-isolated buck LED power supply systems.
The critical conduction mode ensures that the MT7800 can control the power switch to turn on when the inductor current is zero, reducing the switching loss of the power tube and ensuring that the system has a peak efficiency of more than 95%.
The critical conduction mode with zero inductor current valley combined with the peak inductor current after input bus voltage compensation ensures high accuracy of MT7800 output LED current, and has excellent linear regulation and load regulation. It can use I-shaped inductors and is insensitive to changes in inductance.
MT7800 has a wide operating voltage range, suitable for full range AC input voltage or 10V-600V DC input voltage. MT7800 also implements various protection functions, including cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection (OCP), LED short circuit protection (SCP) and overtemperature protection (OTP), to ensure that the system works reliably.
