In-depth Study on Photorelay TLP3547F [Copy link]

This post was last edited by anger0925 on 2018-9-12 18:02
I was fortunate to apply for Toshiba's photorelay evaluation board to experience it, so I will first learn about it. The model is: TLP3547F.
When I first saw it, are you sure it is not a photocoupler?
Mechanical relays have been used before. What are their advantages?
Just looking at the life span, it breaks the limitation of mechanical relays being limited by the number of times. 1. Small size, package area is 2.00mm×1.45mm, chip on chip. Greatly save space. 375330 2. Long life. Photo relays will not wear out like mechanical relays. 375331 3. Large current control. Adopt Toshiba's latest generation of MOSFET chips. The product with the highest current is TLP3547 (5A@60V).
The advantages of photorelays cannot be simply expressed in words, so what if?
Seeing other netizens' tests, many of them were burned out. It seems that the application environment must be considered and can't be tossed around casually.
Here it is said that the driving voltage can be 5V, 12V, 24VSuch a driving voltage is fully satisfied, but if 3.3V can drive it, it will be more perfect.
It would be more perfect if the output end could be connected to AC power.
