The electronic fly killer uses the high-voltage pulse voltage added to the power grid to kill flies that touch the net. When in use, bait is set inside the net to attract flies, and all flies that fly to the fly killer net can be killed. The electronic fly killer circuit is shown in the figure. The ICl time base integrated circuit 555 and the resistors Rl, R2 and capacitor Cl form an astable oscillation circuit. The output of the continuous square wave with a frequency of about 30Hz and a duty cycle of 10% is from the ③ pin of ICl. The square wave is coupled to the transistors VTl and VT2 through the resistor R3, and after amplification, it drives the step-up transformer T to step up the voltage, so that the fly-killing power grid connected to the secondary of the transformer has a high voltage of thousands of volts, thereby achieving the function of killing flies. The fly-killing net can be made of No. 14 iron wire, and the distance between adjacent iron wires is about 6mm. To prevent children from accidentally touching the high-voltage power grid, the fly killer should be placed a few meters above the ground and should be firmly fixed.
