Harmonic sound signal generator circuit

Shown is a harmonic signal generator circuit. A typical multivibrator is composed of inverters 1, 2 and Ri, cl , which is used
to generate basic single tones. Inverter 3 is a buffer stage, used to excite the speaker to produce sound. Inverters 4 and 5 and VD1, R3, R4, and C2
form another square wave generator with a very low duty cycle to determine the conduction time and decay time of the harmonic circuit. VD2, C3. Rs
form a decay circuit, which is used to exponentially reduce the harmonic amplitude that changes with time.
