Neon lights have a very good decorative effect. When used, they can be bent into various forms of graphic text as needed, and
cyclically changing color patterns and automatic lighting effects can be obtained through various control devices. And it is used in advertising, store decoration, etc. The occasion is becoming more and more widely
used.
Neon lamp is a high-voltage gas discharge lamp. Its light-emitting mechanism is: applying high voltage to both ends of the lamp tube, which ionizes the gas in the tube and
emits a colorful glow. Its working voltage is 6000-15000V, which is supplied by a special dedicated transformer . This transformer is a magnetic leakage
transformer, which is characterized by a very small short-circuit current and will not burn the transformer due to a short circuit on the secondary side
. The capacity of a commonly used neon light transformer is 450VA, the primary input voltage is
220V, the current is 2A, the secondary voltage is 15000V, the current is 24mA, and the secondary short-circuit
current is 30mA: it can light up a lamp tube with a length of 12m and a tube diameter of 12mm. The outer diameter of commonly
used neon lamp tubes is between 11 and 15 mm. The lamp tubes are made of glass. The tubes
are evacuated and then filled with a small amount of inert gas and a small amount of mercury. Different inert gases are used to
emit different light. In order to obtain more and more brilliant colors,
the inner wall of the lamp tube is often coated with various colors of phosphor or various transparent colors.
