The power battery pack detection chip DS2438 produced by Dallas Company in the United States has rich functions and can easily monitor the operating status of the electric vehicle power battery pack. DS2438 can be applied to various power sources. Battery pack monitoring. The power source used in electric vehicles is a power battery pack composed of multiple power batteries connected in series and parallel. The performance of each power battery directly affects the characteristics of the entire power battery pack. Therefore, in practical applications, each power battery should be tested online in real time. Then each power battery should be equipped with a DS2438, and their data terminals can be connected to a bus. The power supply of DS2438 can come from the power battery pack itself under test. The potential of the signal terminal DQ of the DS2438 is relative to the ground of this DS2438. Due to the inconsistency of the reference ground potential of each DS2438, the potential of the signal terminal DQ of each DS2438 at the same reference point is bound to be different, so it cannot be connected to on the same bus. Therefore, when measuring the power battery pack, a monitoring module is formed with DS2438 as the core. By adding isolation measures, the data line is changed from a single-wire system to a two-wire system for receiving and transmitting, and the data lines of all modules are respectively connected to the REC , TRA two lines, as shown in the figure.
