Heartbeat monitor circuit diagram

Infrared photodiodes are used to sense skin reflectivity. This reflectance is related to the increase in blood volume, mainly due to the accelerated heart beating within a cycle. The circuit is used to detect the signal corresponding to the heartbeat, transistors and op amps make the reflectivity larger to accommodate the level trigger logic circuit, the range of which is shown.
