NCP1014 /1028 is an offline PWM switching regulator with an integrated 700V high-voltage MOSFET, an input voltage range of 90~265V AC , output open-circuit voltage clamping, frequency jittering to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) and built-in thermal shutdown protection, etc. Features, suitable for applications such as LED drivers, building lighting, display backlighting, sign and aisle lighting, and task lights.
This circuit has open circuit output protection and will clamp the output to 24V when open circuited. In the circuit, the current and open circuit voltage can be adjusted by simply changing the resistor and Zener diode combination. If the input voltage is 230V AC voltage, NCP1014 can provide up to 19W of power and NCP 1028 can provide up to 25W of power.
