Pin 7 is the loudness compensation control terminal. Adding DC control voltage to this pin can form a simple loudness compensation function to obtain
additional high and low bass enhancement. When the loudness control switch is placed in the "off" position (Figure 4-22), pin 7 is connected to pin 17.
At this time, V7-5. 4V, the loudness compensation does not work; when the control switch is placed in the "on" position , pin 7 is connected to pin 12,
then loudness compensation can be obtained. The loudness compensation characteristics can be adjusted by changing the capacity of Ct or Cb, or changing the voltage of pin 7.
Pins 3 and 18 are the external terminals for the two -channel external treble control capacitor C; pins 61 and 5 are the external terminals for the two- channel external
bass control capacitor CI).
