Following the article "TLP3547 Evaluation Board Evaluation Report (I) - Unboxing", this article will test the Toshiba photorelay TLP3547. This article tests the response speed. (Post failed, restored from draft box, seems the picture is lost? Try again, if there is no picture, I will make it up later.) Experimental preparation: 1. Adjustable square wave generator (homemade) 2. 3.3V to 12V adapter board (homemade) 3. Voltage source 4. Oscilloscope 5. Load Group photo of the prepared low-value experimental materials Because I am poor and don’t have a signal generator, I just use the development board on hand to make a simple one. A homemade signal generator with adjustable square wave output, square wave 50Hz-1000Hz adjustable, duty cycle adjustable. Frequency step 10Hz, duty cycle step 0.1%. Since the output signal voltage of the above signal generator is 3.3V, it is not enough to drive Toshiba photorelay TLP3547. So next we make a homemade adapter board. Convert 3.3V to 12V. Use 5551 for signal amplification, and add a follower to reduce the output impedance. The load uses a 10K resistor. After the overall connection is completed. Connect the 12.6V voltage source and oscilloscope probe and start testing. Here is a photo of the whole picture. First test the response speed under 50Hz signal. Expand the waveform, you can see that the turn-on time is less than 0.5mS, which is much better than ordinary mechanical relays. In the next tests at 100Hz, 200Hz and 300Hz, the performance is similar. When the frequency rises to around 340Hz, it is no longer fully conductive. The above picture is from the manual of Toshiba photorelay TLP3547. Under my test conditions, the current is about 12.5mA. The response speed is even better. The above test is a response speed test. Compared with traditional mechanical relays, it not only has a great advantage in size. The speed is also much better. And it is silent.
I failed to post, then clicked restore post, and the pictures were gone. Then I uploaded it again, but it always failed. Now I try to add pictures again
