The first " CarTronics Taipei 2006 " was held at Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall 1 from August 17 to 20. One of the organizers, Taipei Automotive Electronics Business Promotion Office ( TCPO ), said that nearly 400 manufacturers participated in the exhibition, which included topics such as in-car audio and video equipment, in-car communication equipment, automotive safety and security systems, automotive electronic components and parts design, and combined with automotive precision molds, precision tools and ITS logistics service exhibition areas, bringing together upstream, midstream and downstream manufacturers in the automotive electronics industry. The organizers said that this exhibition will attract buyers from nearly 50 countries, covering nearly 80% of the global automobile sales market. Many major automobile manufacturers will also visit the exhibition, including Nissan, Toyota, GM China, DaimlerChrysler, Zhonghua, Yulon, Ford, Mazda, Suzuki, Honda, etc., to enhance the business opportunities of Taiwanese manufacturers in entering the automotive electronics "Original Equipment (OE) market". Since the automotive electronics "aftermarket (AM)" accounts for about 50% of the sales of automotive electronics products, parts procurement and automotive parts distribution manufacturers are important. The organizer also stated that this exhibition will include major parts procurement and automotive parts distribution manufacturers such as Japan's Yellow Hat, Valeo, Japan's MIKUNI, and India's Mahindra & Mahindra, which will also participate and provide manufacturers with relevant business opportunities. In addition to the five major exhibition themes of "In-vehicle Audio and Video Equipment", "In-vehicle Communication Equipment", "Automotive Safety and Security Systems", "Automotive Electronic Components and Parts Design", and "Telematics and ITS Services", this year's Taipei Automotive Electronics Show will also simultaneously host the "2006 Taipei International Automotive Electronics Forum (TCF 2006)". |
