Realization of low-cost and low-power general-purpose inverter

Abstract: This paper discusses a small-scale, low-cost variable frequency speed regulator and its control power supply in detail. The process of waveform generation, the selection of drive circuit and main circuit. With the continuous development of variable frequency speed regulation technology, some fields that did not use motor speed regulation before have also caused people to reconsider. For example, after the newly used motors in air conditioners and refrigerators adopt the variable frequency speed regulation working mode with single-phase input and three-phase output, compared with the traditional intermittent working mode, the whole machine can have significant improvements in cooling speed, heat preservation degree, power consumption, noise index and life. In occasions where the equipment is not large and the load motor power is small, it is not appropriate to use a large and expensive general-purpose frequency converter. Instead, a miniaturized and low-cost variable frequency speed regulator is needed. This article adopts a new control method in the design of the frequency converter, and uses a combination of new devices and low-priced general-purpose devices to achieve this goal well.
