"The writing, compilation, proofreading, review, approval, distribution and review of documents related to the Shenzhou VI spacecraft were all done on AVIDM," said Yang Haicheng, chief engineer of the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. He pointed out that the AVIDM system has greatly shortened the model development cycle and improved efficiency, while effectively improving the accuracy, security and integrability of model data, and has become a basic capability platform for Chinese aerospace workers to carry out model development work.

In addition, Shanghai Jiao Tong University announced that the wireless image transmission technology developed by the university has also been successfully applied to the ground-to-air search and rescue operations during the return of Shenzhou VI. It is reported that the landing site of the Shenzhou VI return capsule successfully adopted the digital television ground transmission technology independently developed by Shanghai Jiao Tong University for the first time, ADTB-T, for high-speed beyond-line-of-sight wireless digital television transmission from the search and rescue helicopter to the ground. When the Shenzhou VI return capsule arrived above the scheduled landing range, the high-speed flying helicopter transmitted the images of the aerial search for the return capsule and the rescue of astronauts through the transmission channel of the ADTB-T system in a clear, real-time and smooth manner to the ground control center and the search and rescue personnel in the landing area, effectively coordinating the air and ground search and rescue operations and completing the real-time television monitoring task of the landing process of the Shenzhou VI return capsule.
