Based on the microwave scattering theory,
the principles and formulas for realizing microwave power synthesis using directional couplers, magic T and T-type splitter-combiner are analyzed
and derived. The influence of partial power source failure on the power synthesis system in a multi-channel power synthesis network based on these devices is discussed, and preliminary theoretical estimation results
are given .
