According to the working characteristics of MCS---51 and 98 series single-chip microcomputer timer/counter, this paper analyzes the frequency signal and proposes different methods for signals with different parameters. The modularity of the method is explained through analysis, and the problem of measuring frequency with single-chip microcomputer is systematically solved.
