Frontier Silicon's highly integrated, low-cost Mercury audio reference design makes it easy for manufacturers to integrate complete audio system functions into built-in stereo systems and CD clock radios. The platform was jointly developed by Shiba-Tech, a Hong Kong company specializing in system design for Toshiba ICs, and Frontier Silicon. Mercury uses Frontier Silicon's compact Venice FS2020 DAB module and Toshiba's FM IC, MCU and DSP control. It can be upgraded to support dual band using Frontier Silicon's Venice 2 module.
