STM32Cube's latest software function pack, FPS-SNS-ALLMEMS2, connects IoT nodes to smartphones via BLE and uses corresponding Android or iOS applications, such as BLUEMS, to view real-time environmental and motion sensor data, digital microphones, and battery power. Its functionality is similar to the FPS-SNS-ALLMEMS1 function pack, but it can achieve lower power consumption. The package also enables other advanced features such as voice communication, sound source localization, and acoustic beamforming based on multiple microphone inputs, as well as real-time motion recognition based on sensor data fusion or single accelerometer data, audio data logging, and MEMS sensor data SD card storage. This software package can be used to develop specific wearable or smart applications with STM32 and ST devices, especially for the key requirement of ultra-low power consumption. The software runs on STM32 microcontrollers and contains all the necessary drivers to recognize the device on the STM32 NUCLEO development board and expansion boards, as well as the STEVAL-BCNKT01V1 (BlueCoin) and STEVAL-STLKT01V1 (SensorTile) evaluation boards.
