Wireless water and electricity remote meter reading system solution [Copy link]

1. Project Background With the development of society, the number of electricity users has increased significantly, and the users are scattered and inconvenient to manage. The traditional meter reading method requires a lot of manpower and time costs, and an automated, convenient and advanced stopwatch method is urgently needed. The traditional manual meter reading method is inefficient and often misses or misreads. The traditional manual meter reading method requires a lot of manpower costs, consumes a lot of time, and is inefficient.
The traditional self-meter reading method requires the layout of a large number of cables, which greatly increases the cost of meter reading, and the scattered and remote users make wiring extremely inconvenient. Therefore, Xiamen Jixun launched a wireless meter reading system. The remote meter reading system is an emerging technology designed to improve the comprehensive billing management of water meters and electricity meters. Its fully automated meter reading method replaces the traditional manual meter reading. The system uses advanced wireless transparent transmission technology to report and collect users' water and electricity consumption data in real time, and realizes centralized storage and unified management of data. It greatly strives for the real-time and reliability of data. 2. Solution Design The whole system consists of two parts: front-end acquisition and transmission part, and central data storage and processing display part. Acquisition and transmission: mainly includes smart meters, wireless DTUs, equipment protection boxes, etc. The DTU mainly collects meter data and transmits the data to the central server through wireless networks such as GPRS/CDMA/3G. Data storage and processing display: mainly includes data servers, application servers, monitoring large screens, etc. It is mainly responsible for storing, analyzing, and displaying the data returned by the front-end acquisition. The system architecture is as follows:
3. System Function Realize wireless remote meter reading function, which is real-time, efficient, accurate, and low-cost. Support multi-center, multi-level functional departments to synchronize data transmission, and multi-level data display is convenient and intuitive. It has system inspection function and remote diagnosis function. Low-power equipment, efficient and energy-saving. IV. Features of products and solutions Real-time, efficient and accurate, greatly reducing labor costs, and eliminating problems such as missed reading and wrong reading that may be caused by manual meter reading. Adopting a high coverage, low cost and stable operator network, saving a lot of wiring costs, greatly reducing costs. The system integrates collection, transmission, storage and monitoring, realizing software and hardware integration, with a high degree of automation. Strong anti-interference ability ensures the stability of equipment and system, data integrity and data reliability. TD210 series DTU supports TCP/UDP connection to multiple centers (up to 5) and TCP server functions, and the access method can access the center based on domain name and IP address.
TCP heartbeat link detection is adopted to achieve automatic reconnection after disconnection, and the equipment operation software and hardware self-test technology is adopted to self-repair operation faults. Supports multiple online and offline trigger modes triggered by SMS, phone ringing, and serial port data, and supports remote upgrade and local upgrade of device programs.
V. Typical cases 1. GPRS remote centralized meter reading system for power in Guangxi Province. 2. GPRS remote meter reading system for a residential area in Xiamen. 3. CDMA remote centralized meter reading system for power in Fu'an. 4. GPRS wireless remote meter reading system for power in a large factory in Dongguan. 5. Zigbee-based wireless meter reading experimental system for power in a Chinese Academy of Sciences in Xiamen.
