Quartus II download problem [Copy link]

When I try to download a .sof file with Quartus II, it fails at 88%. What is the reason? The circuit board I bought is a Terasic development board, so there should be no circuit problems. However, I used Cyclone II as the device at the beginning, but later I changed to Cyclone V due to resource problems, and this problem occurred.

This is obviously a problem with your program. You can first check whether the device selected in assignments/device is consistent with the device you are using. If it doesn't work, rebuild the project and recompile it.  Details Published on 2018-7-12 07:59

There should be a prompt in Quartus that the download failed. Please follow the prompts to find the reason.

In addition, if you have changed the device, you need to find the new device model in the project, or you can build a simple program according to the new model to try to download it and see if it works.

I created a small project and could download it. It's just that I changed the code in the original project, so the program can't be downloaded. The resource usage is below 20%, which is not high.
