Next, got the latest app_demo and can follow the document Encrypted Over the Air (OTA) Firmware update using NFC to do it step by step. Here I want to say that I failed this test, and I still don’t understand why. This post only discusses how to use this function. If you have this board, you might as well try it out. Please make sure you have installed MCUXpresso IDE and the mobile app: LPC8N04 NFC Demo-2.01. Open the IDE, select a project at random, and then select GUI FLASH TOOL:2. We have reported your problem to NXP. Here is the reply from the NXP engineer: The OTA function is not included in the package we released. It updates the firmware, which is included in the package we released. So it is correct that OTA cannot be used. The document we released does not mention OTA. If you use the native firmware of the board, you can use OTA, or I will release a version with OTA. If you need a package that can use the OTA function normally, we will apply to NXP.
