[ST Motor Kit Review] III. Advanced Tasks and Default Tasks [Copy link]

This post mainly talks about the difference between the new and old motor libraries and my humble opinion on SDK5.0. 1. Comparative evaluation of the new and old versions of the motor driver library SDK4.3 MDK project interface SDK5.0 MDK project interface 1. When SDK 4.3 generates a project, you need to copy the .h code generated by Workbench and the .lib library file compiled by MDK to the motor project directory, while 5.0 uses CubeMX to directly generate the project code; 2. SDK 4.3 has the HFI (high frequency injection) algorithm, but 5.0 does not (has the code been refactored yet?); 3. The code style has changed. There is no conditional compilation and no structures (classes) of various parameters. 4. In SDK5.0, add your own code between /* USER CODE BEGIN */ and /* USER CODE END */, otherwise it may be cleared. 5. SDK5.0 is open source! It lowers the learning threshold of FOC. Everyone is scrambling to use ST's microcontroller to make PMSM. II. Suggestions and feedback on SDK5.0 1. Motor Profiler does not support small motors well, and analysis often fails; changing Max Speed as prompted may not be useful; 2. For motors with a wide speed range, different speeds require different PI parameters during PI tuning, and ST SDK 5.0 currently uses a set of PI parameters.
