How to draw PCB with AD and use multiple line widths for the same network [Copy link]

As the title says, if I am on the same network, I cannot use two line widths at the moment. I don't know where to set it so that I can use more than two line widths on the same network.

The signal line is of course one line width, but sometimes the line passing between chip pins, or the power line, has two widths, which is normal.  Details Published on 2018-4-17 22:45

The best way is to press shift+w when routing, just select one, and you can choose the routing line width at will

Why do we need to use different line widths for the same network? Different line widths will also result in different impedances. If impedance is required, this will not work.

Shift+w, correct answer. However, in order to ensure the same line impedance, it is not recommended to use different line widths for signal lines. This is one of the basic principles of PCB wiring.
