Abstract: This paper introduces a method for measuring battery capacity, which is to calculate the energy charged into and discharged from the battery and multiply it by the corresponding loss coefficient to indicate the battery capacity. The method of counting pulses after current conversion is adopted to realize the battery capacity measurement applicable to most charging and discharging situations. The technical approach to implement this method is studied, and a specific design circuit is proposed. Its prototype has been put into trial use.
