I am looking for a six-way input and output optocoupler for motor control isolation. [Copy link]

Hello experts, please recommend a six-way input and output optocoupler for motor control isolation, with a supply voltage of 5V

I support bioger's opinion. It should be easier to achieve your area requirements with IO isolation, and the chips are easier to choose.  Details Published on 2018-1-29 12:58

Why not use 6 in 1 channel?

There is no 6-channel one, and even if there is, the size is exactly the same as 6 single-channel ones, so there is no need to choose it.

Why must it be an optocoupler? Aren’t you isolating the signal of the motor drive? Can’t you just use an isolated IO chip? Do you have any requirements for the driving capability of the signal output?

If the driving ability is not high, it will be fine if there is a suitable isolated IO

The main consideration is the size

The size of a four-way optocoupler is exactly four times that of a single-way optocoupler. If you want a six-way optocoupler, just use six single-way optocouplers.  Details Published on 2018-1-28 09:41
