PDI1394L41/L40 in IEEE 1394 Audio Application [Copy link]

The IEEE 1394 bus is well suited for transmitting audio and control information. There are two basic protocols: the Audio and Music Data Transmission Protocol IEC61883-6 [R3] and the Enhanced Audio and Music Data Transmission Protocol V1.0 [R4]. This application note describes the special considerations for PDI1394L40/L41 in audio system applications.
