This time I went home and ate the delicious food of my hometown - Hengshan bacon. Although I always bring some bacon from home every time I go back to my hometown in Hunan, and sometimes my family will mail me some local specialties from Hengshan, I always feel that the taste of the bacon I make outside is not as good as the one my father and mother make in their own earthen stove. Because of the opening up, there are people working outside; because everyone works outside, there are basically only the elderly, women and children left in my hometown; what is the reason?
