Recently, the 8th Committee of the Communication Branch of the China Electronics Society was formally established, and the work of the previous committee was smoothly handed over. At the meeting, the new leadership group of the Communication Branch was elected according to the relevant regulations of the China Electronics Society, with Lai Guozhu as honorary president, Su Zhenming as chairman , and Chen Wenhai as secretary general. On December 26 last year , the 6th Executive Council Meeting of the 7th China Electronics Society was held in Beijing. The re-election list of 15 branch committees, including the Communication Branch, was reviewed and approved. Therefore, the re-election of the Communication Branch was successfully completed, and the new 8th branch committee was formally established. After the re-election, the Communication Branch was affiliated to China Electronics Information Industry Group Corporation ( CEC ) , and the branch office was located at No. 49 Fuxing Road, Beijing . The newly established 8th Communication Branch has released its academic activity plan for July 2006 to June 2007 (color change is prominent, and link to Wang Xuemei's address on the Internet). It will take the lead in co-organizing the "13th National Optical Fiber Communication and 14th Integrated Optics Academic Conference" with the Optical Communication Committee of the China Communication Society and the Fiber Optics and Integrated Optics Committee of the China Optical Society . It will be held in the third quarter of 2007. This is the most influential and largest academic conference in the field of optical communication technology in China. At the same time, the 21st Tele-Expo Communication Exhibition, the "Communication Olympics" under the branch, will also open at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center from April 12 to 14, 2007. In addition , there are five important industry exchange activities: Electronic Equipment Thermal Control and Analysis Seminar (Hangzhou), Satellite Communication Technology and Industry Development Seminar (Beijing), the 6th National Information Hiding and Multimedia Information Security Seminar ( CIHWO6 ) (Harbin), 2006 China Communication Integrated Circuit Technology and Application Seminar, and Urban Emergency Linkage Communication Technology Seminar.
