Electronic volume control circuit [Copy link]

TC9153 is a CMOS high-fidelity volume control dedicated integrated circuit launched by Toshiba. The circuit features low power consumption, current of about 1-3mA. Low distortion, THD≤0.005%. The volume attenuation range is 0--60dB, with 2dB as a step. The volume is controlled by buttons, which changes the shortcomings of traditional potentiometers such as short service life and high noise.

The circuit is shown in the figure above. The pre-stage signal is input from pins (3) and (14), and the controlled volume is output from pins (6) and (11). AN1 and AN2 are volume increase and decrease controls, and each press changes 2dB. After making it, it is best to shield the entire circuit to prevent noise interference.
