Analysis of Intelligent Network Architecture [Copy link]

According to the regulations of China's intelligent network system, China's intelligent network adopts a network system based on service switching point SSP. The network is equipped with service switching point SSP, service control point SCP, service data point SDP, service management system SMS, service generation environment SCE, service management access equipment SMAF and intelligent peripheral IP, and forms a national intelligent network through the NO.7 signaling network.

The control point SCP is the core component of the intelligent network and the control point of the service logic and data concentration in the intelligent network. It includes two parts: service control function (SCF) and service data function (SDF). One SCP can handle a single IN service or multiple IN services. From the perspective of security, SCP and database should be set up in pairs. At present, the construction of China's intelligent network is still in its early stages. Each service user data is only placed in one database, and no backup database is considered.

The switching point SSP is mainly responsible for call control and service exchange. It can communicate with other functional entity systems to obtain additional information. It can also be connected to the service control point SCP and the service database point SDP through SSP. Its functions can be realized on any current switch through version upgrades and software modifications. Considering the organization of IN services, it is best to set up SSP in the end office, but the number of SSPs required is large and it takes a long time. At present, the SSPs of China's intelligent network are first set up in a few long-distance offices. When they are built within the province, they can be set up in the tandem office, and the SSP can be gradually moved down.

The intelligent peripheral IP mainly provides the language prompts and digital receiving functions required by intelligent services. At present, IP is mainly used to transmit various recorded notifications and receive user dual-tone multi-frequency information, and this information is received through SSP, so IP and SSP are placed together. With the development of intelligent networks, the increase in the number of SSPs, and the enhancement of IP functions, independent IPs must be used.

The service data point SDP is mainly used to provide users with data to be used by the service. At present, China's intelligent network has not introduced this device, and SDP and SCP are placed together.

The service management point SMP is mainly responsible for network management, service management and system management. It is the management center of the entire network. The management route between SMP and SCP is a necessary management route. Through this route, new intelligent services can be loaded into the intelligent network and new intelligent service users can be loaded, the data of service users can be modified, and the management of the entire network can be realized.

The service generation environment SCE is a key node in the intelligent network and an important guarantee for the intelligent network to quickly, conveniently and flexibly implement new services. Application-independent modules (SIBs) can provide services conveniently and quickly in the service generation environment.

The service management access device SMAF is mainly responsible for providing operators with a means of access to the service management point, enabling them to manage services and networks.
