1. Overview of high voltage and high power frequency conversion technology

After nearly 20 years of rapid development and application,   AC asynchronous motor variable frequency speed regulation technology has been gradually accepted by people and has become the mainstream of modern motor speed regulation methods.

  The inverter has the advantages of wide speed regulation range, high efficiency, rich functions, easy insertion into the original drive system, strong versatility, easy to form closed-loop control, etc., making it superior to any previous AC motor speed regulation methods, such as pole-changing speed regulation, voltage regulation speed regulation, hydraulic coupling speed regulation, etc. Therefore, it is very popular in the power, metallurgy, petroleum, petrochemical, chemical, chemical fiber, rubber, textile, machinery, building materials, coal, papermaking, urban water supply and sewage treatment industries.

  In recent years, the design and manufacturing level of domestic high-voltage and high-power inverters has made great progress. For example, Dongfang Hitachi (formerly Dongfang Cage) and Leader Harvest are leading companies in the industry. It is precisely because of the rise of domestic high-voltage inverters that the monopoly of imported high-voltage inverters has been broken, resulting in a significant reduction in the overall price of high-voltage inverters. Now, the design and manufacturing of domestic high-voltage and high-power inverters has become a new industry that attracts attention. At present, government planning, energy-saving forums, and various exhibitions cannot be separated from the participation of inverter manufacturers.

  At present, China's energy situation is becoming increasingly tense. China's GDP accounts for only 4% of the world's total , while its electricity consumption accounts for 10% of the world's total . Every year, 2.5 Three Gorges power plants are wasted. The country strongly advocates the construction of a conservation-oriented society. According to statistics, 60% of China's electricity is used for AC motors, and 70 % of the electricity used for AC motors is used for high-voltage motors. It can be said that AC motors are " large electricity users " and the field with the greatest energy-saving potential.

  It is precisely because of the above reasons that the importance of variable frequency speed regulation technology has become increasingly obvious, and accelerating the improvement of performance-price ratio has become the biggest goal pursued by various inverter manufacturers.
